“Education is my goal. I aim to help patients understand their conditions and enable them to take control of their own treatment course. My belief is that successful outcomes are only achieved when the patient is playing an active role in their own health with the physician as resource to guide them along the path. Medicine is a team effort. It requires active engagement and responsibility from both sides. My happiest moments in practice are when I see a patient connect the dots and finally make sense of their condition. The empowerment it give patients is crucial for long lasting results.”

Dr Walters enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his family. He is originally from Canada and is now happy to call Washington home.
