Educated To Heal

“I chose podiatry because it is an interesting, challenging, results-oriented profession that allows me to help all types of people. When I see patients I’ve treated walk out of my office, pain-free, it only reinforces the fact that I made the right decision by becoming a foot and ankle specialist in Yakima, Washington (WA) and Ellensburg, Washington (WA).”

“Since earning my podiatry degree, I have broadened my capabilities by becoming a board-certified foot surgeon with extensive postgraduate training in foot and ankle care. What this means to you is that I am well-versed in the latest, gentlest foot and ankle treatments. My goal is not only to effectively treat foot and ankle problems but to use my years of experience to prevent them from occurring in the first place.”

A Results-Oriented Profession

“When I was 15, I had a leg injury and saw various doctors for advice, including a podiatrist and many orthopedic surgeons. While the orthopedic doctors did not seem to have the time to talk with me, the podiatrist made the time to actually explain to me the anatomy and the details of what might be causing my leg injury. I was able to talk with him about my concerns at the appointment, which was a lengthy visit and I was able to hear about his profession and the way it affected people’s lives.”

A Focus On Patient’s Needs

“Throughout my medical career, patients frequently asked me “Why feet?” Feet are some thing that are often taken for granted until they begin to hurt. Daily activities and overall health can be significantly impacted if foot pain is left untreated. As a foot and ankle specialist in Yakima and Ellensburg, WA, I am able to provide my patients resources that will lessen pain, quicken healing time, and get them back on their feet sooner. By choosing feet I am able to help others maintain a healthier lifestyle.”

Working as a Team

“Education is my goal. I aim to help patients understand their conditions and enable them to take control of their own treatment course. My belief is that successful outcomes are only achieved when the patient is playing an active role in their own health with the physician as resource to guide them along the path. Medicine is a team effort. It requires active engagement and responsibility from both sides. My happiest moments in practice are when I see a patient connect the dots and finally make sense of their condition. The empowerment it give patients is crucial for long lasting results.”
